Obituaries of Walter Ramminger (1923 – 2022) – Cinnaminson, NJ

Aged 98, a loving father, grandfather, friend and brother and spiritual father, died on January 2, 2022 at home. Walter was a permanent resident of Maple Shade NJ He was born September 17, 1923 to Frank and Babette (née Beck) Ramminger. He came from a family of three brothers and five sisters. All but one sister preceded him in death.
During his secular career he was a lithographer for 42 years in Philadelphia, Pa. Walter was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 6, 1952 in Camden, NJ He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Witnesses of Jehovah in Moorestown, NJ For more than 70 years he was an active minister helping many people learn the truths of the Bible. He really loved telling people about his God – Jehovah, his beautiful creations and the government of the Heavenly Kingdom under the kingship of Jesus Christ. Walt’s hope is to be resurrected to life on a paradise land and looked forward to the time when he would help beautify the earth into a paradise – Jehovah’s purpose for the earth. Everyone who knew Walt recognized his love of the Bible, his meetings and ministry, flowers, gardening, fishing, and the Fellowship.
Walter was predeceased by the one true love of his life, his wife Gloria. They were married for 62 years. Walter was the father of Wayne (Ginger, deceased) Ramminger of Temecula, California; Carolyn (Sam) Sherba of Willingboro, NJ; Linda (Richard) Galletta of Monroeville, NJ and grandfather of Michael (deceased), Eric, Brandon, Melissa, Philip, Justin, Janeen, Shaun and Ryan. Step-grandfather of Audrey, Pamela, Valérie, Camie, Keith, Jamie. He was also great-grandfather to Charles (deceased), Ashley, Amber, Michael, Brenden, Kaitlyn, Alexus, Madelyn, Marnie, Ava, Brielle, Gavin, Logan, Isla, Brody, Logan, Aiden and great, great- grandfather in Brayden.
Walter’s family expresses their deepest gratitude to all of his family and friends for their love and support. The Samaritan Hospice of Mt. Laurel, NJ is also thanked for their kind and timely work.
